A Storybook Christmas!!:P

This past week had been practising for our school play! There was a 1:00 one and then there was a 7:30. They were on the radio! It was about a little girl named Kim who stayed home with her Grandpa. Her parents went to Saskatoon to do so last minute Christmas shopping. I got the role of Kims Mom and I got to be the MC. Mrs. Rogers gave me a 9 sentence script the day before the Christmas play! Me and Brendin had trouble memorizing our script and she did not want us to have the peice of paper on stage so she made us cards that we could glance off of! I defenetly think that you should ach it

Snow day

On monday it was a snow day. That is when we stay home because it is too cold for the buses to run! It was so fun. People in my class went to school that day and they got gumie bears! They were bragging about it on Tuesday when everyone got back! On sunday my grandma came to my house and we did a lot of baking. I got to open a present on the"Snow day".

Interviews/ Report cards

I got my report card last month sometime. I did very well. My parents were very proud of me. I was very proud of myself too. My Dad or my Mom did not go to the interviews. My Dad phoned the school and told them that if my teachers had any conserns that they could phone us.

The SAVE poster contest

One day my teacher gave me an assignment to make a Cyber bullying poster. I made a poster with a whole bunch of words that say not to bully. They gave me first place out of the 5-8 classes. My best friend Stephanie got 2nd place. I won 20 dollars for first place. I was so exited when they anounced my name was 1st. When I got home I phoned my Grandma to tell her the news. She was very proud of me.

My New Kitten

Last Friday I got a brand new kitten!
My Dad had brought it home from the Regina Humane Society!
She is black brown and she has a little white under her chin!
Her name is Emily and she is only 6 months old!
She was on her way to die but my dad saved her. We had always wanted a kitten and we got our wish!
I call her the little fur ball of hate because she hates all of my other pets that we have!
She thinks she is on top and growls at ANYONE if they bug her so ya she is cute and I think we will keep her for awhile. But we will she!

Bullying awarness

This week is bulling awarness week! A police man came to are school and explained to us things about bulling!

I learned how to NOT bully! I learned a new saying for bullying it is: See Say Walk away. That means that if you see someone being bullied then you go tell a teacher. I also learned that when a bully bullies it could stick to the person they bullied for a long time. They can go to jail if they do something really bad and that wouldn't be good at all.

Remembrance Day Ceremony

Today we had a remembrance day ceremony and i got to be in it. In the ceremony I got to sign Oh Canada. It was very fun and I got really nervous and I thought I was going to puke! BUT i DIDN'T i WAS SO PROUD OF MYSELF!? Miss Olson asked me and Cortni to sign Oh Canada I was so happy. I also got to miss some part of school in the morning because of practise. I did really well I did not mess up and I was so happy that my Mommy came to it!?

Career ED.

On November 6th we invited Mrs. Lothian to are school to talk about Career Ed.
I had a lot of fun at it. She tricked us on a game that we were playing. She said that we need to put are head by the lens of the laptop so the thing my doie could read your brain waves. GUESS WHAT we all did it once she said go. But the funny thing was that before she said that she said we were a group of bright children. I hope She still thinks that!? We got to learn about options of Careers and to keep your options open which is like if you say that you are going to be a fasion desiner and you tell your teacher that you are not going to take her class then you change your mind you would have to wait till next year to get it! And the picture is of me and my BFF Brooke!?

Leaf art!!!!

We made leaf art. It was so fun. We had to get leaves from are home and then we had to draw it out. But I cheated and I got one from miss Olson. This is my picture.

Arthur Slade

On November 4th Arthur Slade came to are school and talked to us about the books he had writen. He clames that he met Dracula It was so fun. He writen a lot of books and they are very good books. Right now we are reading Jolted. We had made tinfoil hats to go to the presentation. He writes very good books and he is a very funny person and I was glad that we had invited him to lindale school.

Halloween Dance

On friday we had a halloween dance. It was so much fun, me and all my friends partied to hard and we were all sweaty!

We had 5 snowballs at the dance it was so much fun. I dance with my brother just to anoy him. I danced with a lot of guys. The Dance this year was a lot of fun!!!!!!!

Red sky theater~~~How the raven stole the sun

Today we wached a play it was called Raven steals the sun. I thought it was a very good play. It was very funny to. I thought the best part was when the girl falls asleep and then she gets a baby and it was acctually a beach ball. But I hated that we had to sit near the back because the little kids that were in the front stood up! This is the white raven in this picture!

Art Museum-portraits

On October.29th, 2008 Christy welcomed us to the Art Museum. We saw a a galery that was about portraits of war brides. I was abit clueless of what a war bride is. I learned that they are woman that married a soulier that was in war and they died well some of them did not die but most of them did. Then at the end of it we made a portrait of myself. This is me looking in the mirror.

Thanksgiving dinner

Are school had a great Thanksgiving dinner on Friday. It was very yummy. A lot of people were there. I had to sit in the class room all that time because my mom had to work and couldn't make it to the school. The dinner was still very yummy and I loved the food! That was me enjoying myself!

Hip Hop & music

My classroom and I went to an arts work shop. We had to learn a cool dance. We got to perform. It was so awesome. Then we did a break circle and that was so awesome.

On the same day we went to a music workshop. We make music out of a lot of stuff from Darcy's apartment. Then at the end we played a song in are groups with Darcy was playing the instrument in her band.

Election

This is me at the election I had already voted and I just wanted to be silly. The Conservative party won.

Skeletons

Yesterday October 9,2008 me and Stephanie finished our skeletons . As you can see we made it out of milk jugs. It was a long time till we finished and it was a lot of work!

Bike Trip

We went biking on the 1st of october, 2008 and it was very tiring! This is me going down a Very steep hill!

We went to Connors park and then we ate there and then we got to go on a trail(Me and Stephanie were to far ahead of are group and then we had to stop and we had to wait!

It was so tiring!BUT SO FUN! by the time I got back I got picked up and my dad went in to get my brothers and he had a slurpy filled to the top and I drank half of it and I thought he would not notice but he did I got in trouble!

Terry Fox run

We went to the Terry fox run Yesterday

I ran alot and we had lots of fun! and I had fun and

I really ran hard and I am proud of myself!

WON 1ST VOLLEYBALL GAME YES!!!

Me and my team won our 1st volley ball game in Caronport on Wednesday. The score was incredible. We won 4 matches and they only won one. It was fun. We did good team work and our coach was proud. On the way there we cheered A LOT! I had fun. I think my friends had fun and most important we had great team work.

GPS

Today I worked with a GPS. Today it is Tuesday. I learned that they are hooked up to the satellites and they will not work in side the school. I really liked playing with all the buttons on it. In this picture me and my BF/ partner are trying to get the GPS working. We had to wait and get it hooked up to the satellites!

The best Movie I saw

Hello MY Alexis!!!! Our class had a BBQ on the 26th of august! It was awsome!!!!

I loved the hot dogs at the BBQ!!!
